Why the Abolishment of Obamacare Health Plan is Morally Wrong

Even before Donald Trump was inaugurated, he had sworn to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, which was a brainchild of the Obama Administration. According to the Huffington Post, Trump actually claimed that his administration would allow the health insurance exchanges of the law to collapse before blaming Democrats. Trump wants to replace Obamacare with the Better Care Reconciliation Act, which has already suffered an embarrassing defeat in the US Senate.

It is morally wrong for the US President to recognize that there is a problem in the American health system but still do nothing about it while people suffer. Trump is determined to do everything in his power to get rid of Obamacare without a viable replacement in mind. This has even blinded his obligation towards the improvement of the health system for the benefit of Americans.

Negative Energy

In as much as Obama is no longer the president, destroying one of his achievements in the health sector still outweighs plans by the Trump administration to provide affordable health insurance. Despite its deficiencies, Obamacare helped to expand health coverage. By totally expunging it without any fallback option, Trump will be conceding that there is nothing he can do to solve the challenges that face the American health system. This has been interpreted as a strategic move to discredit strides made by the Obama administration to improve the healthcare insurance market.

The negative energy being exhibited by Trump and his cronies has come to light with the government making deliberate efforts aimed at suppressing health insurance enrollment. This is meant to make Obamacare function worse so that it can be labelled a failure. Since ascending to power, Trump has warned that he will cut off all the payments that the government owes health insurance providers. Such a move is likely to send the health insurance industry into a tailspin.
